Emilio, also known as Simba, is a fun and loving small dog (16lbs) who gets along well with other dogs, especially if they enjoy people/squirrel/bird watching!  Simba was brought back to the rescue after several years due to family circumstances that made it impossible for him to avoid being alone, and he did not agree with this!  He does really well with either humans or dogs at home with him, so he would do great in a home with other dogs or humans who work from home.  He does not like the kennel but has done very well and had no accidents roaming around!  He understands commands and walks on a leash, but he could use some more training to stop pulling.  Simba has a lot of playful energy but LOVES to relax with human or dog on the sofa.  Hobbies include looking out the window, napping, playing with a ball or his favorite fox toy, and trolling for treats!  

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $325.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
