Hi everyone! My name is Cassie and I am a very happy girl. After living on my own for awhile some nice people brought me into their house and helped me get to No Dog Left Behind Rescue. I am thought to be about a year old and am a petite black lab mix. I very much love to play with other dogs especially the two young foster siblings I am living with at my foster home. They are a lot of fun! We love to chase each other and wrestle and rearrange the furniture at our foster home. I also LOVE lounging on the couch with my foster mom and give her lots and lots of kisses. I really like it when she rubs my belly! That is the BEST!. I have never had an accident in the house and sleep well in my kennel. I don't mind it in there, but if things are happening at home I want to be where the action is and sometimes I whine until my foster mom gives in and lets me join the party. She's a pushover really! Because I was living on my own for awhile I do not like to share my food with other dogs. Instead I like to eat in my kennel where nobody else can get at my food. I also sometimes like my foster mom so much that I get jealous of my foster siblings when they are getting attention from her. I like to be the princess. I love to swim and have mastered the "retrieve" and  "sit" commands and am practicing "shake" and "down". It's fun to learn new things because I get lots of treats when I do good! I do have a couple other things I am working on like not to jump up on people when I am excited to see them. I can jump really high when I am excited! I also am learning about walking on a leash nicely. That's really hard to do because there is so much to explore! I hope that my forever family finds me so that I can continue to learn to be a good girl and be treated like the princess I really am. I hope to meet you soon!

 

Cassie's adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, spay, 4DX (tick/heartworm testing), prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $425.00
