Danny V. is an adorable shepherd (maybe some terrier) mix. He is around 2 years old and weighs 45 lbs. He’s equal parts playful and couch potato and loves being with people. Danny is a happy boy and an old soul in a young pup’s body.

He is house-trained, kennel-trained up to 8 hours (although he would prefer to roam freely). We put him in a guest room when we are gone and he hasn’t had any accidents or chewed on anything (we have a dog cam on him and he does great all day!). He would do well roaming freely once his forever home feels comfortable with it. Danny does well with other dogs, kids, cats (with supervision). He also loves car rides and curls up and looks out the window or naps. He is great on a leash and loves going for walks (he gets excited and likes to prance). While on walks, Danny has shown some interest in passing cars, but we are working on redirecting his focus. He loves his plush toys and tennis balls, and even throws them up in the air and plays by himself. He is great at grabbing a bone and going to a dog bed to relax on his own. After playtime, he will snuggle up to you and lay his head and look at you with his sweet, little face. The only tiny issue we’ve seen is that he sometimes wants to know what’s on the counter, but we are also working to redirect this. 

Danny V. is an easy going, expressive, and intelligent boy. He will definitely be someone’s heart dog and fit right into the family. He truly is an amazing dog across the board and we have fallen in love!
