I am Nelly and I am a sweet and loving puppy. I am a husky mix born approx. 1/8/22. I love to play with my brother and wrestle, but I also LOVE to snuggle. Everyone who pets me tells me that my fur is so soft and silky. I am mostly potty trained and I’m really good as long as someone is paying attention and lets me out when I start to sniff around I’m still little but growing fast. I am about 16lbs and mostly it’s muscle. My foster mom calls me Mr. Chunk. But don’t be fooled, I am gentle and would be a good family dog. I have really nice blue eyes, and everyone comments on how pretty they are. I only bark right now when I play. I know how to sit and learned this in one day! I also learned it quickly because I LOVE treats and when I come in from going potty, I must sit before I can get my treat. Like most other puppies I love to chew on things, but I am immediately redirected if it’s something that I am not supposed to chew on. I understand NO! and will stop doing the behavior when I am told no. I am easily redirected when given a toy as an alternative. I do come when called and my mom thinks I am really smart. I am shy for about 30 seconds when meeting someone new and I usually just stand close to my foster mom and when she tells me it’s ok, I wag my tail and meet the new person and love them immediately. I think I would do well with another dog in the house. I don’t show any food aggression. I am learning what a leash is, but I don’t really like it yet. So going for walks is something I need to practice, but I am sure I will get it because I love being outside. I would love to meet you and give you some of my kisses and sit in your lap! . I am also good at sleeping in my kennel at night. I can go the whole night without any accidents, but I need to go out first thing in the morning when I get out of my kennel. When going into my kennel at night I might cry a minute or two, but then I go right to sleep. Right now, I sleep with my brother Usher and I love to snuggle with him.
