Nema is a very sweet girl born approx. 10/21/22 who loves to stay close to her people, cuddle and get belly rubs. She likes to play fetch, but can also keep herself busy with a ball or stuffy. She has extremely soft, fluffy hair and loves to play outside and go on walks. She will chase every leaf, pine cone and stick, she likes them all! She doesn’t avoid the puddles; I think she’s excited for spring and an opportunity to get in more water. She’s a true outdoors lady at heart; will watch for wildlife, spots the birds fly overhead, and sits quietly as dogs pass by. For a puppy, she is very good on a leash and will come in the general direction I call her. She would probably like a big ole friend, she tries to get the resident dog to play, she jumps in the snow and does leaps around him; unfortunately, he’s a miniature schnauzer and just not interested. Nema sleeps in a kennel through the night with very minimal whimpering initially and can hold her potty until morning. She also stays in her kennel when I’m gone, she is a good girl, doesn’t bark, cuddles with her toy, and just sleeps. Same with traveling in the car, she rides in her kennel, will whimper for a few minutes and then lay down. She’s not destructive with toys and would really rather just toss them around, play fetch with herself and be the big goofball she is. She can trot, she can gallop, she’s a total silly girl and will no doubt be a big loyal protector and best friend one day!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, rabies vaccination if age appropriate, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Distemper combo vaccines appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm and flea/tick preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $595

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
