Hi, my name is Night.  I am a chihuahua mix born approx. 8/11/23 that came to MN with 2 of my siblings all the way from Tijuana, Mexico. Boy is it cold up here! I love to play with the kids and small dogs in my foster home but I don’t really like the bigger dog. He tries to play with me and I don’t like that. I’ve never met a cat before but I’m sure we’d get along just fine. My foster mom says she needs to find some cute little sweaters to keep me warm because she thinks it might help with potty training as I don’t like being outside in the cold. 

My foster family has to keep a close eye on me because sometimes my toys taste good and I try to eat them. Even fabrics and towels can be tasty so we’re learning what is acceptable to eat and what isn’t.  I also like to snuggle up on anyone’s lap when watching TV and I especially like to be held when you are walking around the house so that I can see everything better. 

I am just a very curious little guy and like to watch everything going on around me. I am used to spending time in my crate with my sibling but because I’m so small, I need frequent potty breaks. I would prefer a home where I have someone around me all the time or another dog to keep me company. I really don’t like being alone but we’re working on it. Also, if you put me in my crate and I can see you, I will definitely bark and cry because I want out but will quiet down after some time. 

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $595.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
