Hi! I’m Nikolai! I’m a super sweet and lovable guy looking for a patient family to call my own. I can be pretty shy when meeting new people, but once I get to know you, I’ll be your loyal best friend and love being close to my person.

I’m both crate trained and house trained at my foster mom’s house. Sometimes when I move to a new place, I may regress a little with house training because I get nervous, but with patience and a routine, I settle in nicely.

Loud noises can be a little scary for me, so a calm home would help me feel safe. I’ve met kids and cats, but I haven’t been around them enough to be completely comfortable yet. Because of my shy nature, I would do best with older kids who understand that I need a little time to warm up.

Once I feel comfortable, I love to play outside! My favorite things are fluffy beds and balls. I’m a very well-behaved boy who knows my basic commands. Walks on a leash can still be a little intimidating for me because of loud noises, but I’m trying my best and improving with encouragement.
