Meet Westley, the canine comedian born approx 12/3/24. He's a master of the 'puppy dog eyes' and can guilt-trip you into almost anything with just a single glance. His hobbies include napping in awkward positions, stealing socks (don't ask!), and pretending he doesn't hear you when you call his name. He is a professional at the 'butt scratch dance' and will happily accept belly rubs, but only on his terms. He's a furry little tornado of love. Westley loves playing with all kinds of friends...dogs, and older kids...even if all of them don't like playing with him. He is fostered with cats but chases them and is mouthy, speaking of.. since he doesn't have thumbs, he sometimes gets mouthy with humans and would do best with kids over 8. He plays a bit rough, gets a bit vocal, and might even throw in a playful nip here and there. He has a bit of a herding mentality. He is working on it though. He loves water, especially sprinklers. He will chase them all day long if you let him. He is potty trained, and kennel trained (even though he doesn't like his kennel much). He is extremely food motivated, and with some dedication to training, he would learn quickly. He does know some commands like sit, come, and drop it. He loves exploring on walks and does pretty good on a leash. He is easily distracted, though. He does good on car rides and has even started becoming a good luck charm on his foster sister's softball team. The only problem is sometimes he needs reminding that he doesn't get to chase the balls. So, if you are looking for a fun loving, social, cuddle bug, Westley might be your guy!
