Are you looking for an adventure buddy AND a fellow couch potato?  Look no further!  Lacie is a three year old collie mix who is great at being both.  Lacie loves her people, walks, cozy spots to snooze, her people and did I mention her people?  She is extremely patient and tolerant around all people she's been introduced to.  While she's a little reserved at first, she quickly warms up and then wants all the pets and cuddles all the time.  If you stop, she'll give you a gentle nudge or pat, but will quickly settle down near you (preferably on something soft and cozy) if you are busy.  She's been great with elementary school aged kids and based on her chill temperament, she'd likely be great with smaller kids too.  Lacie is happy to snooze near you all day, but LOVES her daily walks.  While not otherwise high energy, she'd happily walk all day.  Lacie would make a great walking, hiking, or camping buddy.  A fenced yard where she can hang out would make her day, but isn't necessary as long as she has daily walks.

Lacie is completely housebroken but is still working on tolerating the kennel.  She is extremely smart and eager to please, a great trainable combo.  Gentle corrections are all she needs and she's been quick to pick up cues.  She rides well in the car and is not a big barker, though she will let you know if someone is at the door or if other dogs or wildlife are around.

Lacie is cautiously friendly towards other dogs, but would benefit from continued socialization opportunities.  She'd be best as an only dog at this time.  While she can be left alone for several hours without any incidents, Lacie loves being with her people and would be best in a house where she isn't left alone all day.

Patient, extremely loving, calm, potty trained and well mannered, Lacie is the whole package for a family with lots of love to give!
