Hi there! I’m Donna, a quick-thinking, puzzle-loving pup who’s ready to show what a fast learner I am.
I may be small, but my story is mighty. I'm a chihuaha mix who was born on the streets of Mexico around 3/1/25, rescued with my mama and siblings when I was just a tiny bean, and now I’m living the good life in Minnesota! I’ve come a long way, and I’m loving this whole “house dog” thing. Crate life? I’m a pro. I love my crate so much, I go in all by myself like a Very Good Girl. I sleep most of the night with just a bit of whining - hey, I’m still a baby! Potty training? Almost nailed it. I’m getting better every day! Sometimes I get nervous and forget to wait, but I’ve learned that I’m safe here, and that’s helping me build confidence. My foster Mama is learning my cues, so accidents are getting rare. Fetch and puzzle toys? OBSESSED. I love using my brain and my bounce! Give me something chewy or toss a ball and I’ll keep you laughing with my puppy antics. Leash walks? YES PLEASE. I’ve discovered that walkies are the BEST. I’m still learning, but I’ve got the hang of it now and I strut like a little champ. Alert but adaptable. I’ll bark to let you know if someone’s nearby (gotta keep the perimeter secure!), but I’m pretty good at quieting down when redirected. I just want you to feel safe! Kid-friendly & cuddle-approved. I adore my human foster sisters (ages 4 and 6) - just watch out for my puppy claws and teeth! I’m gentle, playful, and love new people. With a little encouragement, I’ll curl up on your lap and snooze for hours. Car rides? No problem. I travel like a dream - quiet, calm, and no motion sickness. I’m always up for an adventure! Zoomies, snuggles, and chewy things are my jam. I’m polite about cuddles (I won’t plop down uninvited), but if you invite me in, I’ll be your snuggle buddy for life. I’m at that perfect puppy stage: young enough to be playful and trainable, but already crate trained and almost potty trained. I’m ready to find my forever family and start our next big adventure together. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
