Hi, my name is Ono! I made a big journey all the way from Tijuana, Mexico to Minnesota. When I first arrived, it was a hot and humid day—but funny enough, I still felt chilly! I guess I was used to the warm Mexican weather. Now that I’ve had time to adjust, I’ve discovered that I actually love Minnesota heat. I could spend all day outside if you'd let me! The inside of the house still feels a bit cold to me, though.

 

I’m a sweet and quiet little pup with a gentle soul. It might take me a little time to warm up to new people, but once I trust you, we’ll be the best of friends. We're not exactly sure what mix I am—my mom was a Chihuahua with big, long ears, and we’re not sure about my dad. As you can see, I’m slender with long legs—perfect for zoomies in the yard!

 

I absolutely love playing with the other pups in my foster home; chasing them around is the best! I’m working on my kennel training and doing better every day, though I still have the occasional accident. I’m also learning to go potty outside and making great progress—my foster mom says I’m doing really well.

 

I may be a typical playful pup, but snuggling in your lap is definitely my favorite thing to do. I can’t wait to find a forever family who loves cuddles as much as I do
