Nashville “sings” his own version of country music when he is sleeping, humans might call it snoring, he calls it “nappy time music”. He is just a bit over 9 pounds but don’t let the tiny fool ya, he is full of big personality and love! Nashville is your typical puppy- he very much loves to play, sleep, and eat, REPEAT! For being young he is doing a great job at house training, if he is on a schedule and you watch for his cues you will be successful in accomplishing this task in no time. He knows his name very well and when you say it, he is responsive and eager to come to you.
Nashville, who doesn’t mind being called “Nashy”, has done very well with 3 resident dogs, enjoys playing and sleeping with them he takes their lead in learning the life of a dog. He has been around busy typical teenagers, and he is very curious to be part of the “cool kid group.” Isn’t afraid of strangers- young kids to adults alike. He does okay on a leash, doesn’t mind car rides, and prefers to ride Captain when he can! Nashville has an underbite that is of no concern now but will need close monitoring as he grows. He will need regular dental check ups to assure it doesn’t interfere with chewing, eating, and soft tissues as he grows.
Besides his stunning looks- 10/10 on the adorable scale, Nashy excels in chewing. His favorite chew toy is Yak chews- you give him one of those and you have a 20-minute babysitter for sure! He also overachieves is snuggling! He prefers snuggling tightly and at nighttime would prefer human bed snuggles to his crate. (Cue the sad beagle howl when he is crated at nighttime) For being a puppy he also gets an A+ in night time sleeping routine! He goes out potty around 10pm and will sleep soundly until 5:30am when he wakes you with an ear nibble to say he is ready to go out and awaits the sound of kibble in his bowl.
Nashville will do well in a loving home, likely a kid friendly, dog friendly, attention giving home. He is laid back and goes with the flow but certainly enjoys social time with all! He is just starting to use his nose, enjoying the scents of bunnies that roam through the yard!
