Are you looking for a loyal and loving little companion? Look no
further. Meet Keith. Keith is a Chihuahua mix born Oct 1, 2025. At his
6-week vet check, he weighed in at a whopping 1.4 lb. Don’t be fooled
by his small frame. He is lively, playful, and feisty but also loves
to cuddle. He has a puppy schedule. He plays hard and then naps. Play
most often involves wrestling with his brother, Scott. He is smart and
has shown minimal normal puppy issues like biting.  He chews on his
toys or his brother! He likes dogs and has no fear of the much larger
resident dog. He has no experience yet with cats, or children,
however, I can’t imagine there being any problem given Keith’s loving
nature. He is a quiet fellow, no barking but he is a bit of a
“crybaby”.  He cries when he is hungry, tired or wants to snuggle. He
is doing well in his kennel for 3-4 hours. However, he is with his
brother and not alone. Currently he is using pee pads for “pottying”,
and he keeps his kennel clean. Unlike most rescue pups, Keith was
fortunate enough to be born at one of our wonderful foster homes. He
has known nothing but love and caring and he has come to expect this.
