Pugsley is very smart, affectionate and energetic Pug mix. He loves to play, bounce around and chase his own tail. He is higher energy, so be prepared to bounce around with him for a while. He’d be great with older kiddos who wouldn’t get knocked down accidentally as he plays with his tennis ball. Once he’s done playing, he loves to snuggle up, and really snuggle up!! He’s like a Velcro baby, locked in tight to you! Touching is his love language. Whether he’s curled up on you or stretched out on his back alongside you, he’s connected and ready for love.  He prefers to sleep close to his humans and pack members. He will go in a crate, but does not like it and is very vocal about his dislike! He prefers to curl up in a blanket or dog bed. He’s doing well with his potty training but does mark. He’s a smart guy who knows how to sit and wait and takes his treats very gently.  He gets on so well with the resident large and small dogs and is great with kiddos. He’s definitely a lover, not a fighter! He loves being outside in the yard and could spend hours chasing birds and squirrels! A fenced yard is a must for this guy.  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
