George is a classic terrier with a big personality packed into a small body! Born around 3/14/24, he is bold, curious, playful, and incredibly affectionate. He came to us from Arkansas, and while we don’t know much about his past, it’s clear he’s ready for a bright future with a loving family.

George is full of life and loves to stay busy. He’s very smart and thrives with regular mental and physical stimulation like walks, training sessions, puzzle toys, and interactive playtime. True to his terrier roots, he’s wonderfully inquisitive — don’t be surprised if he wants to “inspect” your purse, backpack, or shopping bags when you’re using them. He simply wants to be part of whatever you’re doing!

One of George’s sweetest qualities is his affectionate nature. At the end of the day, he happily curls up close and loves to nuzzle into your neck for cuddles. He truly enjoys being near his person and makes a wonderful companion. He’s the kind of dog who forms a strong bond and will brighten your life every single day.

George is potty trained and does well when left home alone without needing a crate. He’s not overly barky (which can be rare for a terrier!) and enjoys spending time outside without making a fuss. He has great recall and usually comes when called, showing just how attentive and eager to connect he is.

Because George can be enthusiastic during play, he would likely do best in a home without very small children. He may enjoy a canine companion, but proper introductions will help set him up for success. With guidance and continued structure, George will continue to grow into an amazing lifelong companion.

If you’re looking for a fun, loving, slightly mischievous best friend who will keep you smiling and always want to be by your side, George may be your perfect match. He truly is a little ray of sunshine ready to become someone’s other half
