Daphne is an amazingly sweet girl.  Her life was a bit rough before she came to rescue but she has come so far.  She is amazing with kids and dogs of all sizes.   We are not so sure how she is with cats. Daphne does not mind her kennel but loves to sleep in a dog bed next to you or even better in bed with you. She is young and needs a strong leader but with a strong leader and trust Daphne will make the best dog.  Daphne has not had one accident since she came to us, but I keep her on a schedule.  Daphne loves to be outside and will soak up the sun for hours. She does like to dig and we are working on braking her of that we have not fully broken her yet.  She has learned since she has been with us that she does not need to protect us and that I will protect her.  She needs the reinforcement at her forever home as well.  Daphne walks well on a leash and likes car rides as well.  She is still a bit of a pup and having toys around for her would help her from chewing on other things.  Daphne would do well with another strong role model dog in the home.  She is great with both female and male dogs but seems to be more geared towards males then females.  Daphne’s ideal home would be with an active family that would take her places and is a little quieter home that would work with her and continue her training.   

Daphne is extremely smart. She has picked up on all training so fare. Daphne loves to snuggle! Daphne is ready to show you with love and guidance she is amazing an amazing dog.  

 Daphne’s adoption fee includes: Rabies vaccination, DHPP vaccination, bordetella vaccination, de-wormer, 4DX heartworm/tick disease test, spay, flea and tick preventive, heartworm preventive, pre-paid micro-chip, and a full veterinary exam. Adoption fee: $275.00

We are 100% volunteer based, so on occasion it could take more than the standard 24 hours.
